Who is Decks-N-Effects? | Deck San Antonio
My name is Paul Monceret, I am the owner and operator of Decks-N-Effects, based in San Antonio, TX. I have been building San Antonio decks and creating custom backyard transformations for the last twenty years. I launched Decks-N-Effects in 1998 when I built a Texas Room onto my own house in San Antonio and then added French Doors leading to a bi-level 600 square foot Pine deck complete with hot tub, fire pit, fish pond, BBQ Grill, outdoor speakers and ambient lighting. The deck also connected to the sliding glass doors leading to the master bedroom. My next door neighbor loved it so much that we designed a deck around his backyard pool and from there Decks-N-Effects was born.
Since then we have built custom decks for hundreds of satisfied customers from San Antonio to Houston and most towns in between. We usually only work by word of mouth referrals from happy clients.
